OEM Roof Rack TSB on its way - Canada

Just heard back from Toyota Canada that the TSB for the vibrating roof rack will be out in a couple weeks. The repair will be new, stiffer portions of the rack. Likely the wind deflector and front support, but that's just my guess. Happy this is coming to a conclusion.

I wasn’t happy at all with my roof rack which I had negotiated into my try off road premium purchase. Too much wind noise overall. Removed it and sold it quickly on marketplace.

I had that same noise from mine, as I was exiting the automatic car wash, where those large fans blow the moisture of a vehicle.

Mine is booked in for the repair this Wednesday. I will let you know what gets changed out and how it goes.

Does anyone have a link to the TSB for Canadian purchasers? I'm not getting any notification for mine, as of now. What I've done is remove that black colorued front sloped piece of metal stamped with "TOYOTA" on it. No more vibrations at higher speeds, but probably noisier from wind through roof rack. I close the cover over the sunroof, to cut on the noise in the cab.

I didn't get a notification for mine. I have had a case open with Toyota Canada for oh about 5 months now so my TC rep called me and got me booked in. I can ask the dealership on Wednesday what the official TSB number is.
