I hope this is only a temporary condition - my OEM cover leaks on all sides. It appears there is significant leaking along the tailgate, which I assumed would be the weakest seal. Tailgate seal rests on tailgate per OEM instructions. Both sides have runs all the way to the front, albeit appear to be minimal. The corners by the cab (the part that bolts down) leak the most. Parked in light to moderate rain for a few hours and then driven a few miles in light rain. I canā€™t tell exactly where one leak is coming from but one of the drain tubes is wet on its outside.

Unfortunately these types of covers are just going to leak a little. Yours looks about like mine after a car wash or drive in the rain. The good news is that although it gets a little wet around the edges it should still keep your cargo dry.

I went with the ultra flex undercover. It is a high quality folding cover that was professionally installed and it still seeps a little water in the areas you point out. If your looking for powder keg dry you might want to look at one of the Diamondback covers. diamondbackcovers.com

Thanks for reply. I did look at DB but wanted the ā€˜full openā€™ mode this offered. I did expect some leaks but this was more than expected. Also, I am concerned the front corner leaks are due to the drain tracks being overwhelmed for some reason. If, as you say, itā€™s normal for this (and similar) covers, Iā€™ll ignore and adjust.

Mine leaked in a heavy rainfall. But overall itā€™s not bad in lighter rain. Good enough for what I need.

Randyg, I had the OEM cover installed by a dealership. Gotta say it works better than the others I've had, that said it does not leak as badly as yours. The front corners have small holes that couldn't be plugged because of the design are my biggest culprits, but I've not had water on the outside of the drain tubes or that much standing water. Winter is coming so we'll see.

As an update, I discovered these. I dried out the bed yesterday and then exposed it to rain again (weā€™re getting a ton here) for a 10 minute drive. Puddles in the bed. Biggest leaks are at the tailgate gaps on either side. Canā€™t do anything about those. Gutters up by the cab were all wet. A ran my fingers around the front of them and these rubber ā€˜padsā€™ fell off. Looks like double-sided tape was not very water resistant. I will have to take the cover completely off to figure out what their job was. Perhaps they were to seal the ends of the gutters. Anyone have any idea?.
