Just a PSA to check your JBL Flex from time to time. I went to use mine and noticed it wouldn't turn on. If it's plugged to power it's fine, but it appears that the battery won't hold charge any longer. I've set up an appointment with the service department to get it looked at but likely will need a new unit.

Sounds like your unit has a problem, mine has been working perfectly and I use it often living in a beach area and while in the garage. I would suggest to all that it gets used on battery from time to time to keep it fresh since some people may not use it often.

I picked this up from Etsy...

I find my stereo actually sounds better with the front speaker out of there. Plus, it's not getting a constant charge. When headed to the beach or wherever I might be using it, I just pop it in before I leave and let it charge on the road.

I really wish it had an on/off switch or the volume control on the Flex Speaker worked independent of the rest of the speakers while it was plugged in, turning it down would help stop it from over powering the rest of the speakers!

Mine last about 20 minutes before shutting off.
