Outside of undoing the clips of the factory grille which honestly was the worst, it was a pretty smooth install taking about 4 hours (did every step carefully). YouTube helped with the wiring as well.

There’s a misalignment now for sure, it thinks the bumper is 1ft forward of where it actually is. But honestly, with the side camera view that also projects on screen it’s a non-issue

I have a wiring question for you. Did you wire this to the factory Aux switches? If so, did you use a harness that had a fuse and relay? I’m wondering if the factory Aux switches have a fuse and relay already built into the truck and a harness is redundant.

If you have the full Aux package on your truck, then their wiring kit is not needed.
If you do not have the Aux package, then you'll need their wiring kit or something similar with a dash switch and relay. It's not the Heretic light bar, it's a diode dynamics one, but I have a post detailing an approach you can use if you do not have Aux pre-wiring in full. If you're unsure, you'll know you have it if your vehicle came with the dongles to finish off your aux connections.

I do have the 3 Aux switches and pigtail with my OR. I read the Heretic draws a max of 11.3a so if I wire it to Aux 1 (15 amp?) I should be good to go?

Thanks so much for your help. I called Heretic and I was told I had to use their harness, even when utilizing the factory aux switches. Didn’t seem right to me.

Nah, I ordered the light bar as well and will be wiring it this weekend. Just use the Aux switches that came with the truck.

Anyone else concerned about the exposed connection? I was thinking of using dielectric grease at a bare minimum.

Dang. I'd at min grease that but honestly I'd likely tape it or paint it in rubberizer... I would not trust an exposed contact point like that in my house, let along my vehicle.

On my Diode Dynamics bar it was totally sealed and internal.

To each there own on risk acceptance but I agree with you that it shouldn't be acceptable as-is. Unless there is a cover that goes over that.
