Recommend a car wax for SR model Thxs

For damn near 20 years I have been using this Honda polish on many different motorcycles over the years and it keeps them showroom new easy to clean off bugs and protection from UV damage. I plan to use that Honda polish on the black plastic on my 24 SR Tacoma. Any recommended car wax? I have the underground color and would prefer a hand buff with microfiber cloth. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated thank you.

I found these guys 2 years ago. They have been around forever and have never advertised their product. I use the Insulator wax once in the spring and then use the Super Double Coat in the fall.

Gyeon Can Coat with a 6-12 month true ceramic coating. Can do the truck 4-5 times.
So last a couple years minimum. It can go on plastic, windows, paint, and wheels. I just finished doing a one-step paint correction to my truck because the dealer put microscratches all over it during a paint and interior protection installation. I used it afterward. Some before and afterphotos. The hood still has some scratches. I dare not push on the hood, I can see the aluminum easily denting.

Ugh nice job..I told my dealer I dont want mine detailed just for that reason. I remind him every time I talk to him...

I agree 100%. It was that paint protection package they sell. Who would have thought they'd screw it up that bad.

To make things worse,I drove up to pick my truck up, it had a dent in the hood. Took me going to the top of the food chain for them to admit it had a dent. A PDR guy fixed that, then they buffed the truck. A crap job.I could go on and on about this experience. I got way to bent out of shape for an easy process. But, I do have those rear view mirror signs. Do not wash.

The "Detailers" came out and couldn't even see the dent. I told them they don't have a clue how to detail. They told me, We've been doing it for 10 years. I said you've been ******* up people's cars for 10 years.

2 good answers here already posted. Gyeon can coat will last longer and will also work well on all the plastics and glass. 1 yr or maybe a tad more.
collinite 845 will give you 3-5 months of excellent protection as well as a slightly deeper shine. I have found it to stain plastics, and it can be hard to wipe off if left on too long or not long enough. Still and excellent product for people who like the traditional style sealant waxes.
Another great option is griots 3n 1 ceramic spray sealant. It lasts as long as the Collinite and is much much easier to apply. It also won’t stain the black trim.
‘If you don’t mind applying once every 6 weeks, and want crazy water beading and outstanding shine and clarity, try carpro reload. I use this as a topper to my ceramic coated cars and it’s awesome.

Taking advice from an auto enthusiast I know I got this Turtle Wax product and am incredibly pleased for the all of how well it works, no white streaks, works on trim, and the low price. Same damp with it microfiber cloth for application easily applied it to the matte black trim, plastic, and TRD OR wheels and that helps with a simple car wash.

The stuff is perfect for my mostly just wanting easier washing and water beading and keeping some obsessive enthusiasts I know happy. It is way cheaper than what many suggested.

Additionally I will use very fine rubbing or polish compound on vehicles for some scuffs and scratches. When I ran out of an automotive product I started using same Virtuoso polish suggested for lacquered musical instruments. It seems like same stuff and I know it is super fine for the musical instrument finish.
