turbo 4 should be more reliable in my opinion. Less pistons, camshaft,s spark plugs, injectors, o2 sensors and more.

also Less gear shifts due to wide power band.
Had a 22ret 4runner years ago. Turbo 4bangers from the 80s are still being abused everyday and going strong.

Anyone else NOT going to wait to 60,000 miles for first oil change and additional oil changes every 30,000 miles after that?!

Or warm up for 10 minutes in the winter; there's no carburetor!

I presume you are joking! 1K, then every 5K after that. And not with dealer bulk oil, unless they can prove it is Toyota or major brand synthetic.

Nope, not joking, because in the video, that's what it says, as well as letting the engine warm up for 10 minutes in cold weather.

It's at the 8:10 mark for oil changes and the 8:25 mark for 7-10 minute warmup.

That was for the transmission. The trans was also the justification for cold weather warm-up, but it does seem excessive and actually violates idling bylaws in some regions.

You are absolutely correct, and I am 100% wrong! I gotta stop leaving comments before I've had my second cup of coffee!
