Rigid D-SS Ditch Light Install Help Needed

Help.

I have a 2024 Tacoma Trailhunter. I have the Rigid D-SS Pro Ditch lights.
They came with a wiring harness, a toggle switch, the lights, and the mounting hardware.

I read the light specs and see that they draw 3.8Amp. So was wanting to use the Aux3 OEM switch (5A circuit).

So, I mocked it all up and then tried a "dry run" in the truck to be sure everything was going to work - no light.
What am I missing?

I spliced the rigid wiring harness to the free wires on the pigtail
- Rigid red wire to white from pigtail
- Rigid black wire to ground white/black strip from pigtail. (heatshruck solder sleeve covered with heat shrink wrap).

I inserted the rigid switch, into the circuit, mated black wires to gold spade on switch back. Red wires each to one of two silver spades on the back of the switch (will cut/splice toggle out at final install).

I plugged the pigtail into the Aux port (driver's side, near windshield washer filler).

Turned on the truck, turned on the Aux3 switch in the dash - no lights
(toggled the rigid switch on/off too, hard to tell which way is on/off on the little switch).

What am I missing?

Photo shows the bits cut off and the bits used to make the splice with the OEM pigtail.

if the rigid switch has three prongs, it’s an illuminated switch and requires a separate 12v feed to illuminate. You can make it function, just find the correct prongs for simple on/off operation. But please, if it were me, delete the rigid switch altogether, not required. If the lights pull 3.8 amps combined, you’re fine with the 5amp lead, if they pull 3.8 each, use the next highest amperage lead that will cover 7.6 amp draw. Just connect directly to that aux lead

Snipping out the rigid switch/relat did the trick.
Rigid meanwhile recommended 15A circuit.

Uh Oh. More help needed.
So, got it all dialed in for the ditch lights on the 15A Aux 1 switch with the awesome advice provided here.

Now, I was getting on to install Rigid SR-L Series Lights for ARB Rear Bumper install. Looks like the pigtail I used for the ditch lights will not work if I ALSO need to power the rear aux power?

So... do I actually need to use a different OEM pigtail to get ditch lights AND rear lights power?

The SRL lights run off taillight power..just hook them into the drivers side taillight and connect the ground wire

AWESOME. Phew. Did not want to re-re-re-splice my prior work. While fun. Redoing stuff can get old! Thanks for the advice.

Ok. But. If, someday, I need to use the rear AUX power circuit, I will have to use a different pigtail upfront?
