I was working on a project and I needed to run some wire from the battery into the cab. As usual, I started with looking for the rubber grommet that the main harness runs through. Traditionally, a small slit is cut into the outside of the grommet, and the new wires are shoved through. As I was looking at the grommet I noticed a rubber nipple. This is on the battery side, not the driver's side. It sure looked like it was there on purpose to run auxiliary wires. So, I cut the tip of the nipple off, and sure enough I was able to run a pair of 14g wires through.
I figured this might be useful for others, so here ya go.
