No, and I don't think it's needed. It adds stiffness.

Yep. You need to adjust the settings on the mirror, or you'll see a lot of the inside of hte cap.

How have you found your smart cap? I have had mine ~4weeks. And it leaks. One rain storm. One snow storm. Even just parked, and water in the bed (few cups worth).

I returned mine. Started leaking immediately. And a few other things. Smartcap took it back no problem. I’m going with Snugtop now. I plan on sleeping in the back as well

It was dealer installed. Contacted SmartCap. Took it back to the dealer to have it removed. It was their problem after that.

Dealer put it together. Terrible job. SmartCap in process of finding me a different dealer to redo it. I'd do it myself... but... now that SmartCap involved... should stick the warranty plan.. hope the 2nd dealer does a better job!

anybody with a smart cap currently on their truck willing to take a quick measurement for me? Just want to know what the distance from the top of the rear door (open) to the bed is. Trying to see if I can fit my bike under it on this new gen. much appreciated.
