Great to hear! What tires are you running? I have the OEM BFG Trail-Terrain T/As, just wondering how they'll do out here in the Sierra? Have you gotten much ice? Sounding like you may be getting a bit more the next few days, have fun!

The Trail Terrains have done well with the little bit of snow and ice we've had so far here in Alberta. 4WD helps a lot... obviously.

Thanks! My previous vehicle was a 2011 FJ 4x4 with KO2s which I was pretty confident in while in the snow. I will be curious how the Taco does with these tires. Have been on the fence as to whether to replace them with the KO3, Falken Wildpeaks, or just sticking with these for a winter. I appreciate your feedback.

I put bridgestone Blizzak dm-v2’s on mine. Had them on my F150. Great truck winter tires.

Waiting to see how much I have to use 4wd

I’m switching back and forth depending on the state of the road that I’m driving on

Assuming you are referring to switching back and forth between 4x2 and 4x4 drive, not tires? Can you keep us informed on how well things go as you get more snow? Sounds like you could be in for some good snow fall, depending on where you are...stay safe!!

I’ve got 285/70R17 Toyo Observe GSI-6 on my stock wheels and I can’t wait to chase some storms for the boarding season here in AB/BC this winter.

I also have the Sport 4WD but with the OEM Michelin Primacy LTX tires. Interested to see how they will do in Midwest winters. I had a Versa FWD with normal tires and had no trouble so 4WD should be even better.
