I hear ya, just sticking up for the few left that prefer to drop their rides.

I live in the rural parts of Wisconsin, ground clearance and capable 4x4 is still standard equipment or else you go no where during inclement weather.

Though last winter and this one thus far, my Corolla has handled all of the storms with WS90's on 15's. My 2016 Tacoma SR has sat idled.

I think I'll just see who gives me more for my trade :). I think both will work for me.

I have a 2009 Sport now and went with the OR 2024. The price is about the same for these two TRD upgrades and the OR has a locker. The 24 Sport comes with 18 inch wheels which is no bueno for me as well. I don't off road for fun but we have a ton of land without roadways so I need something capable.

The 2024 will replace my DD and the 2009 with be mostly for "farm stuff." It's lifted and has 33's it can get me through the woods when I'm felling trees and dragging out logs. Wish it did have a locker like the OR.

Hi everyone. I'm a bit perplexed here as to which way to go. I have an allocation of a TRD OR (Black) and a TRD Sport (White) and am not sure which to take. I haven't put a deposit on the Sport yet, but that's coming. Both. have Feb build dates and are within $1000 of each other. I don't really offroad (dirt roads, easy trails) much, but I do drive some windy roads which is why I was thinking maybe the Sport. But the OR has more features, even if I won't utilize them to their fullest that I think may be cool to have. I hate posts like this, but I'm really undecided here. I think if I get the white sport I may wrap the roof black like the Pro.
First off, I love the idea of wrapping the roof, I've been thinking the same thing as I have a RAV4 Prime XSE where they black out the roofs. Makes a big difference to me.

I had a 2019 OR and I find myself in the same boat (sorry, probably wont be helpful). I did think to myself many times, next time I'm getting the Sport so my daily commute has a better ride. I just hated the look of the hood scoop, especially from the drivers seat...it was obtrusive, imo.

4th Gen, I like the new hood scoop, doesn't seem as obnoxious. I also like the rims on the Sport more than the OR. I'm also considering the hybrid, so the Sport being a little cheaper might help offset the price of the hybrid system.

However, I'm looking for land to build on and may be driving on some unimproved land for a while. I also don't like the color matched fender flares on the Sport, I like the flat black flares on the OR.

For me, I have to wait until the iForceMax prices are available to make a decision. Maybe by then I will have seen some of these trucks in person too.

Buy the off-road, will be better and easier to sell when you sell years down the road.

I am constently looking FB marketplace, lots of sports for sale, very few and rare OR. They either sell quickly or initial owners don't sell them. In Canada there is only $200 difference between the Sport Premium and OR premium. While the OR Premium loses the longer bed, it gains a lot more in functionality and value.
