Steering Wheel and seat heating with remote start?

Hi All, anyone figure out how to have the steering wheel and seats heat turn on with remote start? I leave both on prior to shutting off, but they don't seem to come on with remote start, which is a bummer.

Are you remote starting with the fob or app? Don't know if it makes a difference but worth a try.

Looks like just interior temp and front/back defrost on the app

In my Trailhunter they both come on when I use the app provided that I turned the truck off with them on.

I asked the salesperson when I picked up my truck, he said wheel and seats would be automatic based on temperature. For whatever that's worth!

It's starting to get cold here so I'll try and remember to pay attention. I WANT to say that I've noticed the steering wheel heat being on when starting from the app, but never the seats (so far). But don't quote me on that, I haven't been watching carefully.

I have seen them on when left on while using the app to start.

So far I’ve also only had them work on remote start when I’ve left them on before shutting the truck down. Except for one chilly morning last week where I could have sworn I didn’t leave them on. My old jeep would do it automatically at 40 degrees or lower. Gonna keep an eye on this

I highly doubt this to be true. Salesman rarely know what they’re selling. Could it be true… yes. I doubt at all thought. We’ll see

Yes. I experience this with the ac as well. AC will be on however putting my hand on the vent and feeling the air it’s not that cold. I’ll manually turn off ac and back on and it’s a drastic difference. It’s like the lights are on but unless you start the truck with foot on pedal none of these actual work

You have to turn off climate settings in the app then when you leave the car turn all settings you want on... On.... I do this for the steering wheel heat and drivers heated seats... The only thing that won't stick is the defroster buttons

Thank you! This is the correct response. The seats and steering work now with app remote start, just had to turn off the climate settings in the app.

No problem... I live in Alaska so I figured it out quickly... Not sure why the defroster settings don't save if I leave front and rear on they always reset to feet & windshield.... And rear is always off.... Maybe someone will figure that out or there is no option
