Thanks. Hopefully someone will do a YouTube on it sometime.
Parts $360 Canadian.. A little spendy but don’t see any other options? I guess the Toyota wizards don’t think we need them in Montana but do in Alberta. Maybe global warming will finally happen and we won’t need them anymore?!

I've read this numerous times! Great article about these little engines. As mentioned above I think they are needed up pretty good to handle the turbo and the abuse Toyota knows these trucks go through.

In the diagram of the EVAP system, at the end of the document, it looks like the canister is in the fuel tank. Anyone know if that's really the case, or is it just shown that way to condense the diagram? If so, how would it be replaced? I ask because on a previous Nissan Frontier the evap canister was located in a terrible spot low in the engine bay. The canister clogged all the time and had to be replaced. It was absolutely stupid for an off-road vehicle. Locating it in the tank would make sense in a lot of ways.
