Tailgate Insert (not the letters)

Hey guys. I came across this tailgate insert from Mountain Hitch the other day (picture attached) and it reminded me that I saw another one recently that was similar, but it actually utilized the hollow points of the tailgate as little drawers/cubbies that you could use for extra storage. Does anybody know what I'm talking about or who makes it? I'm having a hard time finding it with internet searches because every single time I search for something relating to the tailgate, it's giving me the insert letters. Anyway, I've used my tailgate on my previous Tacomas for all sorts of things and this seems like a worthy upgrade for just about anything. Thanks for any help!

Not a lot of help here, but this isn't like the ones on the new Fords is it, where they have seats molded in so ya have a comfortable place to sit while waiting for a wrecker?

That'd be pretty cool. I just ordered the Mountain Hatch cutting board insert that you referenced up top. Looking forward to trying it out.

Same concept, yes, but the one I saw didn't use gas struts like that. It was mounted flat and had access to the hollow points in the tailgate through little "doors" that you could take off (or maybe slide???) to get access. Although I do like this option! Seems like a great use of space. Will keep my eyes peeled!

I had too open up the tailgate before and there is not a lot of space in it. The latch bar runs all the way through as well. Would have do a lot of modification, it's just not worth it imo.

Could this be the one you’re thinking of? they have a version with cup holders but I wonder if the panels on the side had you thinking there was storage?
