Not trying to get political in any way ……simple concern, hopefully some input….im ready to order a set of new Toyota OEM Trailhunter wheels to put on my TRDOffroad , Is this april 2nd tariff thing going to raise my price on wheels?, im thinking i should just place my order on monday, i am comfortable with the price now and im concerned the damn price is going to go up………..Keeping new wheels in box for awhile wont have any negative on the finish id think. Im just going to get my order in monday morning ….thanks guys

I think it depends on where the TH wheels are made. They might be made in the US and the tariffs wouldn't apply. Tariffs are also coming on vehicles made outside the US, but I haven't heard anything about parts.

If the wheels are not made in Canada or Mexico you could probably wait, but I would want to grab a set of those cools wheels anyway, tariff or not. :)

Parts are a month later May 3rd if they even happen.

The bigger problem will be just like Covid. You will have all the bad eggs raising prices “blaming” tariffs even if the stuff doesn’t get a tariff. It will happen just like it did during Covid.

There’s gonna be some ‘shake & bake’ going down for sure. But I think it’ll last 3 weeks and then watch the credit card price gouging disputes ensue

I was looking at get some ko2’s for my Tacoma, but those are made in the USA. I’m Canadian and Ibelieve vehicle tires are part of Canada’s Tarriff list on US items. Going to make expensive tires even more expensive. Sad where this is going.

Yep - sad and I think pointless. These tariffs will probably damage both of our economies, but I think we are stuck with them. You might want to get your tires sooner rather than later.
