The coolant thread

My coolant was 1/8 inch below the "low" level. The dealer sent me home with pre-mixed coolant but I was stunned to see orange fluid in the container. So I poured a shooter to take pictures and prove on this forum that its orange - you can see the result.

2 Questions :

Is that pink / orange phenomenon normal for Toyota coolant?

Anyone else had to top up the coolant ? I dont see any leaks but i wouldnt think that a brand new truck would lose coolant.

I've noticed that mine sits just a hair below the low level as well. Also seems like the reservoir may sit a little cock eyed.

When i pour that orange looking stuff from the container to the shot glass it looks pink. Thats the same coolant in the second pic looking orange and pink.

I'm still reluctant to pour that into my truck.

Just the overflow tank. Nothing to be concerned unless it gets very low.

Its the same stuff. Just a weird trick of the light with the contrasting colors of the coolant and the bottle. It'll be fine.
