I ordered one of their chrome Tikit seatbelt alarm silencers. Upon receiving it, I had to file some off each side to make it fit and it worked fine. I gave a review on their site, mentioning my modification. They promptly sent out two of their 'Stealth' versions, no charge. These fit perfectly. Just a shout out to a company that stands behind their products.

Miqie, I have been dealing with this company for years and found the same response from them. They are great to deal with. Everything from dogs or groceries in the front seat to constantly opening and closing gates in the back country, the device is great.

Just wanted to thank you for posting this---- I've had them now for several weeks and they've been super helpful.

No criticism, just wondering why people buy these vs. just buying a Carista or Carly. There's a good handful of things you can modify, and you don't have to insert anything into the seatbelt buckle.

For a one time purchase of $6 - $8 bucks you have something that quiets the seatbelt chime when you want it. The device works for years and in various rigs without having to spend another dime if the chime is all you are concerned about. They pop right out when you have a passenger who needs the belt secured. I've had'em for years and my friends keep walking away with them because they are so handy, and I don't mind replacing them.

Fair! I use Carista for customization as well. More so on my Audis since they had more customization options.

Carista needs a monthly subscription.
True, but when you buy it the first time it comes with a month, you program it once in your vehicle and all your friends' vehicles and cancel it. But yes if you wanted to use it again you'd have to pay for a month again. I keep it in my truck in case I need to read or clear a code on the fly.

One other option besides the Tikit device is seatbelt extenders. Supposedly you can ask your dealer and they will give it to you for free. The extender stays in the seatbelt receptacle, quieting the chime and you just click or unclick the belt from that.
