Toyota Extra Care Platinum Warranty Prices

Hi, all. I know there has been some discussion about the value of Toyota Platinum extended warranty coverage. I reached out yesterday to one of the names I keep seeing around the web and on forums about this coverage and here are the prices I got back. Hopefully, this is helpful for anyone considering Toyota’s extended warranty. This was from 8/6/24. I don’t know how often these prices change. I’ve never purchased one myself, but am considering it. What say you? At these prices, it’s a good deal? Still not a good value for your dollar? Insurance is a scam? All opinions welcome.

Yeah. Like I said, I’ve never purchased one before. I always piss the finance people off, but this time the extra assurance feels like it may be a good investment for peace of mind.

Well, they seem to have it figured out now. The transmission would be covered up to 6 years or 60,000 miles. If it's going to fail, it'll most likely happen within that time period, in my opinion. I'm considering it because, while I enjoy working on my vehicles, I don't see myself lying on a cold garage floor in 5-10 years. I'm getting old!
