Hey everyone, This morning I got into my truck and almost all of the interior lights were not on. Has anyone else experienced this? It was hard to see the climate control knobs, the camera view, swayybar disconnect, along with the rest of the buttons in that area. Any suggestions are greatly appreciated. I haven’t looked at the fuses yet nor do I know their location but wad going to start there.

Didn't look into this yet but this started on Saturday morning. I looked down at my climate control and everything was black. I touched the knobs for defrost and the display was different than I was used to seeing. I just thought maybe it was a glitch. The 14" display was acting strange also- disconnected from Android auto several times. This had never happened before either. I will definitely look into the dimmer and look into the fuses. It may just end up at the dealership for them to solve.

Turned the brightness all the way up and checked all the fuses under the hood and rear passenger seat- all the fuses were good and turning the brightness up only brightened up the dash display, not the climate control area or the camera views / sway bar disconnect area buttons. I guess it will need to go in to the dealership to be looked at.

Yep - definitely dealer time, which usually sucks.

That sounds pretty serious to me. Good luck.

Thanks, have an appointment Saturday for this and the door speakers having almost no sound. I love this truck but it's starting to look like Toyota's reliability isn't what it used to be. I really hope that I'm wrong.

@Biggs1975 The door speakers lack of volume seems to be normal. My Tundra was the same way. It would be nice if we could adjust the various speaker volumes independently.

I hope that it is something clear cut like a bad connector with your lights and the dealer can figure this out.

Will keep you guys posted on this since apparently no one else has experienced this.

Update on this: I checked every fuse on the truck except for the ones hidden under the passenger side kick panel area. There is a panel marked airbag and below that panel is another panel that has the interior cabin fuses. Low and behold, one was blown. I believe it was marked panel. This fixed it and crossing my fingers that it doesn't blow again.

Good that you fixed it. I know that in most vehicles today there are multiple fuse boxes scattered around the entire vehicle. That makes checking and replacing a fuse tough until you sort them all out.

I'm also coming from a 2005 Tacoma so the technology has vastly changed.
