Transmission shifting overly hard into 2nd gear after cold starts, 2-3 shift is quite noticeable. no other symptoms.

Same. I've only had mine for a couple of weeks, but the shifts are certainly more noticeable when cold. Warm it up for a bit, and everything is smooth. I am going to get a tune next week and suspect that, along with the added throttle response and improved boost, the shift points will also be refined.

I’m really curious on how much the tune will improve the shift points, keep us posted. I’ve been looking into the OTT tune for mine since I ran it on my 3rd gen and it made a huge difference on that. But I’ve been kind of holding off since dealing with the issue on my 4th gen. My truck was built on the tail end of 2024 so it’s a long ways away from the TSB vin range.
