Shifting Into Reverse = Hard Shifts?

Mine also did this. About a week ago (800 miles) and hasn't done since

When it's cold all shifts are a little harsh I noticed. When it warms up its smooth as butter.

Mine shifts hard into reverse even after transmission was replaced. Did the same on the first trans also

Mine does that. I assumed it was due to the turbo unit spinning slowly.

My truck also clunks hard into reverse when cold but if I disengage the parking brake first, it doesn't do it. I think it has something to do with that.

Normal normal. Direct injection is very loud, open your hood one day and listen to the engine for 30 min. You’ll eventually be able to hear it switch from direct Injection to port injection where it will quite up big time.

My 2024 Hybrid Trailhunter does this about 1 per 10 reverses... It's done it about 3x so far in first 1100 miles... And, yes, I'm fully stopped...

It's just pretty violent and hard on the drivetrain... It can't be good for the truck and will definetly shorten the life of the transmission... Shannon
