TRD Off Road Premium Delivery Question

oh, I got what I’m looking for. Walked right over to the parts department and ordered some new wheels. Then as soon as I got a home, hit up the Internet tires and roof rack and I’m good to go.

Wondering what's the biggest tire size you can run with those wheels without a lift?

Not sure. Possible a 265/70/r18. It’s about 3/4” smaller.

I read more posts and it seems like 275/70/18 is the biggest tire size without lift. Can I use the same lug nuts from the TRD OR wheels or would I need a completely different set? TIA

Once I made the decision last Fall to buy the truck, I knew I wanted a long bed, Off Road Premium, with the Underground paint color. Whatever is more rare than a unicorn is what I had landed on. To make matters even more complicated, I didn't want a bunch of PIOs. You can keep your $70 fast charging cables.

I found the truck almost five hours away, struck a fair deal on the trade and have really enjoyed the purchase. I could go on and on about allocations and availability, but others have done a better job explaining how that system works. I'm just happy to have found what I wanted.

It is comical this trim did not come with all-weather mats but I found the 3W mats and they really great. Added the hard cover, bed mat, hood struts and the bed step. I do wish the truck had the bed scene lighting and better fog lights but as far as a platform goes, there is so much I can do with the truck.

My TRD Offroad premium I Max, came with 2 sets of mats, one set front and rear all weather as well as carpeted mats…call your dealer you were supposed to get both sets, my son also bought an TRD Offroad and he got both sets…

I am taking delivery on Friday and wanted to make sure I had a good idea of what to look for in the cab. My drive will be 12 hours back home and wanted to have a check list of items.

To the “OP”. There is a very good thread/ checklist made by member “Rusimo” he has a trail hunter, few months back he made a good list of what to check with no delivery checklist……may be a good read to sharpen your senses at delivery time, as you know the moment your standing outside of new truck our minds are going 220 different ways, ,

I had them swap the TPMS sensors. I think if I had the dealer do the swap, it probably wouldn’t have been that big of a deal. But because I went to a third-party place, I had to pay extra to dismount the old tires from the old rims to get the sensors off.

Here in New York the whole thing cost about 300 bucks in labor. But that’s because I went to a place that is known for not scratching your rims. As opposed to the chain locations. All of their negative Internet comments are all talking about how they scratch their wheels. So I think that piece of mind was worth the extra hundred dollars

Congrats I waited 4 months for my premium long bed.

Just got back. It was a long two days but totally worth it for me. Also drove through some places I’ll probably never see again but it was beautiful countryside.
