Trip / Mileage reset

WHat is the appropriate way after a tank fillup to reset the trip\mileage calculator? I can goto the infotainment screen and goto the VEHICLE icon and click the clear data for the CURRENT mileage screen.

But you can also do a reset on the TRIP A\B display on the cluster.

But you can also do a reset on the TRIP A\B display on the cluster.

Under the Vehicle Icon instead of hitting clear data click UPDATE that will add the latest tank info bar and start a new one, it will also reset your Total Average on your instrument cluster. I also reset one of my Trip A/B, but the infotainment one is the one to reset after fill up to track your tank average.

I use the reset in the instrument cluster. I highlight the trip mileage, reset it, and do the same on the tank all from the steering wheel.

Does that do the same as pressing update on the trip history on the information screen?
