U.S. $68K TRD OR in Arlington, TX

Saw these photos elsewhere for a TRD OR at Vandergriff Toyota in Arlington, TX. I live in the immediate area and have heard first-hand stories about outrageous sales practices at this dealer group for years. I’ve visited them a few times and always walked away needing a shower. So I’m hardly surprised at their attempted $11K markup.

Avoid this dealership group like the plague. They are terrible.

$400 for basic pinstripes that look like fucking ass. The premium package would be cool to have, but not with a $10k market adjustment.

Crazy thing is that's not even the highest ADM for a sold 2024MY, much less one that will sit on the lot for a while like the one above..

And still some complain about broker's offering MSRP/below deals. C'mon.

A fool and his money...

I've posted something similar before, but I'm sort of gobsmacked by premier Japanese brand dealerships -- think Honda and Toyota -- a) doing this, and b) doing this successfully.

If / when our deposited Trailhunter ever appears, we'll walk in a heartbeat if our dealer -- which is only about 10 miles as the crow flies from this one -- tries to charge a penny over MSRP. For the love of all that is holy: It's a pickup truck (albeit a really nice one)! We've worked way too hard for our money.

Same here. I was told by my sales guy that there would absolutely be no markup. Then the guy up and leaves the dealership and now I have a new salesperson... if she tries to pull that shit, I'll be so pissed. Taking that nonsense to every piece of social media I can. Not that it will deter scumbags...

That is insane! That is the truck I am getting in silver. There are so many dealerships without market adjustment. Nobody should shop this rip off dealer. Several dealers in DFW have this same build coming so no reason to pay market adjustment. There is already stuff put on by the distributor that I probably wouldn't have picked but some I would. You have to be willing to walk away. I hate those predator steps.

Ridiculous. Watch them sell trailhunter and trd pro for 80k.

Dang that's nearly $14,500 in pure profit over MSRP, which includes profit. Add in a Doc fee and others. Not to mention 3 identical mop n glow packages.
