Looks like the bolt and cover are missing. Had you already taken those off or were they missing from the factory?
The cover broke off!!!
Everything was fine before, we took off the nut to disassemble the shock and inspect but the cover disappeared on the trail.

No, it was there. It’s broke off on the trail, it was instantly noticeable.

Damn, well thanks for sharing, guess this is a good opportunity to upgrade even though it should've handled it. Did this happen after the washboard section?

No, You’ll see it on the video once we finish editing but it was a flat soft pack area, no washboard.

It must have developed multiple failures to completely depart from the truck. That's a bit concerning. Didn't look like you guys were doing anything too aggressive.
The TFL guys were just driving up an icy dirt road...very benign scenario to cause a drivetrain failure. I know things will break but damn, hope this isn't a sign of things to come.

I'm switching from a Jeep which has had zero problems in 6 years. Hate to move to a Toyota and have reliability issues. Still getting it though...looks so damn good.

Any update? Warranty? Faulty Shock? Or shitty design?
