A better/deeper version of that side storage cubby in the bed that is sealed or can easily be sealed for dust and water. Something that uses the oem screws or rivets.

I would LOVEEEE to stick a diesel or gasoline forced air heater in there and run a few feet of ducting out and drill out exhaust holes etc. Iā€™m sure other folks would appreciate some more substantial storage in that cubby as well. Thereā€™s a lot of opportunity to maximize space over there imo.

That magnetic closure you have for the center armrest storage (which looks so useful!) be nice for that maybe??

A cup holder insert like the one you offer but without the slots. The goal would be to eliminate the spring loaded grippers that destroy styrofoam cups by covering them and keeping them compressed at all times.

First accessory I bought was the Hitch Safe to lock up my keys while I'm surfing.
Hitch Safe on Amazon

I've always liked the key pad options on the Ford trucks, but this seems like a safe bet. By the way, this safe does not fit in the Tacoma hitch, so I had to order another set of bolts.

Does anyone else have hacks to lock up keys while they are out in the water, hiking, or biking?

I got one of these for the pool chairs while on vacation... I suppose if you can find a place on the exterior of the truck to strap it, it would work.

Idk if I consider this "my" first mod but I'll definitely be adding a clear bra paint protection. This way it'll protect the truck's paint longer from scratches, dings, age...etc. Second, I'll add tint to the front windows to match the rear and also the front windshield. Since the windshield is slanted and collects heat from the sun; adding a light tint to it actually helps cool the cabin down.

I would like a storage container with secure lid that inserts into the back two center console cup holders. I never use these and think it would be a good place to store hand tools or other items I want quick access to.
Not sure understand it correctly. is this the position you mentioned?

Sounds great! Do you have a pic to show the cubby? I will bring your idea to the team and check our laser data of the position there

That makes sense. But how to eliminate the spring loaded grippers?
