Just Installed Katzkin Leather Seats on my Tacoma

Hey guys,

I just had my Katzkin leather seats installed on to my TRD Off-road and am absolutely in love with it. The cloth seats were just not sitting right with me in my opinion and I was just waiting for when something like these would finally release! Some how it made the seats twice as soft and feel so much more comfortable.

Also don’t mind chuck sitting in the back.

Wow clean install! Way fewer creases than other installations that have been shared on here. Professionally installed or did you do this yourself??

Since softex is not an option on the Xtracab, this was my plan if Toyota ever decides to build the trucks.

Yours came out great. I was going to attempt a self install, but maybe it makes more sense to have an upholstery shop do it?

Wow, look stock. I want alcantarra or that fake suede stuff ones. They stay cool and and warm in winter.

I was also tempted to do a self install but I figured that the truck is just too new and In too good of a condition to mess anything up in. The install only took the shop around 3 hours to complete.

They were professionally installed. I’m really glad I had it done through a shop because it looks awesome.

Looks great, I just picked up my TRD OR on Sunday. I got the Dealership to throw in the Katzkin leather in the deal and I'm meeting with the local installer to design and order the covers. I wasn't sire about doing the white stitching for contrast but seeing your photos convinced me I should. My only concern is that it might discolor/stain down the road.

I would love to put seat covers in my truck, but I can’t imagine they will work well with the heated and ventilated seats. Maybe just for the rear? Decisions decisions.

I saw you were installing these yourself. Have you received them? Was it a tough install? Any pictures of the final product?

I’m considering doing it myself as well but would love to have a little more information on the 2024 installs.
