My truck should be here in the next couple days, it's coming with the soft tonneau cover. I'm happy with the deal and would rather have it than the spray on bed liner or many of the other PIOS. Anyway, I tried to get the dealer to let me give them some extra money, remove the cover, and let me pick it up with the hard cover PT954-35240 installed, but no dice. I'm trying to look into the soft cover a little more to see if I may want to keep it, or just take it off and sell it. However, I can't even tell if it's a tri-fold? One piece? Roll up? I know, I'll find out in a few days....but has anyone had their truck come with the soft cover? If so, what do you think?

I have the soft one, it’s a tri fold, but last panel closest to cab is fixd. I like it… no issues but I paid for,it, cheaper than the hard one does the job, and allows me to use my bed divider as the bed rails stay in place with the soft cover.

Thank you for the input. That last panel being fixed would definitely be an issue for me, but are you saying you have to remove the bed rails for the hard cover? I like that less. I think this just tells me I shouldn't buy the hard cover until I see both. Thanks again.

From what I know the bed rails get lowered (repositioned) to install the hard cover. Seems to be common on the hard covers that the bed rails get lowered

Sorry, no, but I keep getting reminders from associates with other tonneau setups on how I like my decision to get a Fas-Top. There's nothing too special about the tonneau cover itself but it sure is sweet when I've had a full topper as needed, and still have an open bed pickup.
