Hey man - Are you still running with the crash pads on? I am perplexed because another member is getting rubbing with 285/70/18 which are a half inch smaller than your tires.
Yeah, I saw that too.. I have the crash pads still in place and the ARK flaps mounted. One of the flap bolts attaches to the pad. I left them in place. I do rub on the flap in reverse.. not really enough for me to worry about. I don’t think it would rub at all on the pad only without the flap mounted over it. I’ve had her flexed pretty good while turning, no rub moving forward over large terrain.

So weird! This throws off my whole tire process.

Nokian makes a really light AT in 295/70/18 … 58.4 pounds. Would be awesome. I’ll wait and see. I’m going to go for RokBlokz, so I assume I should get the high clearance version

I have Nokian nAT on my 2007 PreRunner. They are a very good brand.

Oh shit really? Just found out about them here. I’ve been researching that tire like crazy and see nothing but good things. I love the Falkens and KO3s but I don’t want all that weight. Toyos are also a good option but I think the Nokians are better in the wet. I may go with the 275/70/18 nokians unless I think I can get away with the 295s.

How do they perform off road compared to the more popular brands?

The High Clearance ones don’t appear to be made for TH or Pro, different fender flares

I contacted RokBlokz and helped them organize a meeting with a TH member in Utah so they can make some :).. I posted about it

Currently trending toward 285/70/18 Falken AT4Ws (34”) or 285/70/18 KO3s (33.7”) — will report back on fit!
Have you pulled the trigger yet? Which way are you leaning?

I'm in the same boat (also have a TH). I'm struggling between 285x70x18' and 275x70x18's. I just got the RokBlokz rally flaps, which may steal some space.

Can't decide between Ridge Grapplers, Ko3's Toyo open country 3's or Wildpeak A/T 4's. I'm in VT, so snow capabilities are really important. Kind of leaning towards the Grapplers and Wildpeaks, though the peaks are a bit heavier...

Few comments.

1) 275s are plenty big and huge compared to the trash OEM tires.
2) KO3s look badass
3) Falkens look great too.

Leaning KO3 or Nokian

Impressed how much bigger they look over stock. Even though its only about an inch 🤷‍♂️.

Those KO3's look pretty awesome.

To confirm, those are 275x70x18's? Why do they seem so much bigger than the stocks?
