Contact your Dealer first. I don't care for my dealer's service department. I am a 40 year ASE Master and unfortunately they are clueless. Need to get the regional rep involved I guess. I just don't have the time right now.

I agree. No properly functioning transmission should ever make a sound like high centering on a rock when shifting into reverse.

Yup, I’m glad to see more people speaking up and voicing their frustration

I'm really of no help to you as I have a manual but I do want to add in that every 8-speed transmission I've ever owned was extremely unpredictable. Will it drop 4 gears or will it drop 2? Who knows! Hard shifts every so often, power not on demand at times.

I hated my camry's 8-speed, first gear was always too short and shift times sucked

I hate 8-speeds with a burning passion.
