To be honest I like both of them even the oem one.Which do you like better?
I have been using the CC digital key since day 1 and rarely ever grab regular key fobs from my drawer. At times, I do grab the spare just in case something goes wrong with the CC.AJT has been around for a while. When we had our Wrangler I used them and they were ok. After a while they look like crap in my opinion. They are also bulky but believe it or not smaller then the stock JL fob so that was why I bought one.
I am loving not having a fob at all. I am using the credit card key and just slip that into my wallet. Game changer to not have to carry one at all.
okay but how has nobody asked, where did you get the truck keychain? Not sure if this counts as a mod but I love the way this new key fob from AJT Designs looks!

Has anyone else picked one up?
I keep it in my wallet with credit cards. When I touch the end of the door handle it locks, and when I touch the middle of the handle, it unlocks. It does what I want it to.I tried that but the key would not work from my wallet. Seems if it is anywhere near a credit card / debit card, it has extremely short range [e.g. < 1' ]. Same is true if i am holding the cc key and my phone in the same hand. So far, I have been disappointed with the cc key for those reasons. Have you noticed range issues with the key in your wallet?
Only one thing wrong with that set up. You need this key.Liked the red accents on black fob. I didn't think the white fob would hold up well
You can get the 4G Taco keychain on Amazon for $15.okay but how has nobody asked, where did you get the truck keychain?
It's a Cain and Abel thing. My brother graduated from Tempe Normal!Only one thing wrong with that set up. You need this key.

If you go to where you're just out of range of your vehicle where the key fob does not work, hold it to your chin and it gives you extra range. No joke. I'm not sure how much further out or normal range you can go because I haven't tested that part.Do you get better range out of it? Compared to the OEM fob?
Nevermind. I looked at their site. It looks like just a cover.
Not really a "mod" per se.... More of a uhh.. standard feature on newer Toyotas (Except for non-limited 4Runners).My favorite key fob mod is remote starting the truck with my key fob that does not have a remote start on it.
Hit the lock button three times holding it down the third time for about five seconds at which time the lights will flash and the truck will start. As soon as those lights flash the fourth time holding down the button, you can let go of the button.
It can be a bit finicky sometimes. Need to see the lights flash each time, unless you have them disabled. (It would still work I imagine.)
Sometimes the lights don't flash on maybe the second try so I just hit the unlock and then do it again 3x.
I tried to make a video of it but it's too long to upload.
It's about the same amount of time as using the app but sometimes it's not convenient to use that app such as if you're on a call or something else.
It appears to work on any 2024 Toyota. I showed my sales guy and he tried a few different vehicles and it worked on all of them.
