What do people think of the OEM and aftermarket bed mats? Are the OEM ones nice enough to warrant the $180 vs $100 or less for an aftermarket one?
I am okay with spending more money if it's actually worth the cost, just not sure that it is.

I cannot comment on the aftermarket bed mats, but I had an OEM on my Gen 3 and purchased an OEM for my Gen 4. I also purchased an OEM mat for my son's Gen 3. I have to say this is a top quality product, I especially like that it lays flat from the start, fits perfectly, and keeps things from sliding around in the bed. Perhaps you can find one on sale, I have purchased several OEM parts from Toyota dealers that sell online at a discount. In short, I would highly recommend the OEM mat if you are willing to spurge for a some more money.

I agree with the post above. I have the OEM mat as well. I looked into other options yet still opted for the OEM one. The material is thicker yet more pliable and seems to be more durable. Anything close and the price point will be almost similar to the OEM mat, so why not go OEM? I feel like this is one of those you-get-what-you-pay-for kinda thing.

I bought a tripleALiners mat on amazon because I couldn’t get an OEM one.

I’d recommend it. Worked out great.

I got the off brand amazon one for like 90 bucks. Exact same design as the lastfit one but without a logo (pretty sure they all come from the same factory in china so just find the cheapest one on amazon). Fit's very well, really contours exactly to the bed, lots of friction so stuff doesn't slide at all. OEM toyota stuff is always nice, I could't find one in stock when I got my truck so I can't really say. The aftermarket is nice becasue I don't feel bad gouging it up and getting it dirty. Even drilled some holes for drainage and made some cut outs for the drings. Really digging it.

I have the OEM in my 2g, but when my 4g arrives I think I am going to go with the triplealiners. A lot of dirt, twigs, and small rocks end up under the oem mat. I'm thinking the lip on the tripleA will prevent that.

I was hesitant about buying it. But it turned out awesome once it flattened out.

Go for it.

I bought the OEM bed mat for my Sport, which is a 5 ft bed since my truck has the 6 speed manual. Got it from one of the online Toyota dealer store fronts, 130ish bucks for the part, and like 145 shipped. I really like the mat, my 2021 TRD Sport didn’t have one and it’s definitely worth it.

There are a number of dealers, but here’s the one I use for my orders. It’s slightly cheaper on sale now than when I bought mine last year.

There's nothing like the Tacoma OEM mat. Heavy, lays completely flat, excellent quality. I got mine on a holiday sale from Fred Anderson Toyota for $110 including shipping to the Midwest.

I had purchased a generic rubber mat for my tundra.. when I got my Tacoma I removed the mat from my tundra and just cut it to fit the new truck.. saved me a few bucks.. I love the rubber mats

Looking at the local dealerships to me and all the online listings, I won't be able to get this for under $180 for the OEM bed mat. Everyone seems to want at least $50 to ship to RI. Do you think they'd let me pick it up locally to avoid paying shipping? Maybe I can get my seatbelt chime programmed out while I'm at it.

Got a Zeekoop from Amazon. Cheap, flimsy, creased and honestly think it’s probably gonna blow out on the highway. Should’ve returned, too late now

Got a Lasfit for my 6 foot box on sale, its great. I got it because OEM wasn't out yet.Nothing gets under it. Nothing slides, super grippy.
