Tacoma VIN Allocation Tracking / Delivery Timeline / Quality Inspection (QC) Hold Status

I too appreciate the info Steve, and subscribed to your YouTube channel. It's been a nerve wracking ride the past two months, trying to understand why my Tacoma never arrives. Strange thing about my story is that my dealership website has changed the expected delivery date several times. I finally got hopeful when they specified 3/8 and woke up this morning to see the date changed to 3/19. Originally I was told 2/22.

Also appreciate the info that maybe this is a wiring harness issue. I'm impressed at how well Toyota can keep a secret. Maybe they should train the US government on how it's done.

@Trainer Steve Clifford, don’t need a VIN search, just wanted to give you a shout out from a local… I’m buying the Wind Chill Pearl Tacoma Sport at your sister dealership off 610. Unless someone said this already, but went through a ton of Steve’s lookups. And trucks that VINs that are:

3TM = Toyota Mexico Baja Factory seem to be all moving off of QC, or at least faster?

Mine is:
3TY = Toyota Mexico Guanajuato Factory and I assume still on hold as a data point.

Also everyone that has a letter in your last five digits , isn’t even built and not sure the point of asking as it cannot be on QC hold.

I have a 3TY vin. Was built on 1/22, QC hold for 28 days starting 2/19. Was released from QC hold I believe on 3/6. It now has an estimated delivery date of 3/6-3/12. Just waiting for the call to head into the dealer now
