TRD Off-Road Premium Running boards

The Canadian Off-Road Premium comes with running boards. Does anyone know how these are mounted? I was hoping they are frame mounted and not body-mounted.

Let you know later today if you want, I'm picking up my OR Premium this afternoon. I've seen it already and near positive that they are attached to frame. Thinking what truck would attach running boards to the body?

In Canada the Cast Aluminum TRD Running Boards are included on the Sport Premium and the Off-Road Premium. That's why the MSRP is over $61k for these trucks. The Running Boards are a $1455.98 +15% tx option on other trim levels.

I assume they mount to the bottom of the cab inside the pinch weld the same as the other Running Boards or Step Bars on the previous Gen.

not sure what shipping would cost, but I’ll sell you my predator side steps/running boards if you wanted to buy them I want something without the step that hangs down, but I wasn’t able to chose if I wanted them or not when I bought the truck.

No thanks - I'm happy with what comes on the truck from the factory here in Canada.

gotcha. Just thought I would offer. They only fit 4th gen Tacoma’s, so probably have to wait until there are more trucks on the road before anyone will be able to buy them from me lol

This is what I was afraid of they wouldn't provide any protection on the trails. Bit of a bummer that we have to pay for these if we want the premium package in Canada.
