2024 Tacoma OR ... less than 200 miles and died on the side of the road

Less than 200 miles.... multiple malfunction warnings, "low oil" , "visit dealer" loud ticking from engine , loss of power then it just stopped. Had it towed in.... no oil in motor but its all over the engine from somewhere on top. Dealer said Toyota needs to get involved. No loaner either. Not looking forward to this cluster fk!

that sucks, sorry for your experience. I don’t think you’ll be doing the Toyota ”Jump” anytime soon. What was the build month of your taco? How were you driving, uphill? what speed? Any other details like load variables?

This sucks beyond sucks…im very sorry for this to happen to you after getting new truck, working hard for what you want and now this ….wonder what the MR SHELDON has to say on these issues happening more and more its realy bullshit when guys have to pucker up after buying new truck , and crossing fingers every bump or sound they hear…….HEY MR SHELDON. , maybe start reading consumer forums , and hearing what the common working guy deals with after spending hard earned money …this really pisses me off ..maybe MOVE THE PLANTS ACROSS BORDER

I don't have the month of build or any paper work handy... still in truck. was driving on flat dry pavement stopped at an intersection waiting to make a left... hit the gay and thats when the crap started. Truck was me and another passenger, nothing in tow. Just driving to Dr appt

i would definitely wait another year. Toyota totally shat the sheets on this one and the Tundra. The more I look the more occurrences like mine are out there. It's going to be interesting how they play this one out. I will update after Wednesday. Stay safe.... I lived upstate NY for college... Plattsburgh and Cortland

Great Hockey towns, i hope you get some results buddy. Just showed this to wife and said …im waiting for 2025 , It's becoming so clear the work force labor there and quality control sucks, all so toyota can save a dollar …thats wrong. I feel for you buddy , good luck keep us posted

Next nearest dealer is 2 hours away unfortunately and I would have loved to. I bought 6 trucks from them when I lived in that area. These guys are the only game in town so they have you by the balls kind of. And there is no way Toyota Care would flat bed it 138 miles. I'm at their mercy right now unfortunately.

to busy taking interviews with YouTubers about cup holder space, and answering sugar coated questions. Those engineers get asked the same lame questions by every reporter. Questions about wheel articulation, ground clearance, interior space, headlights, fog lights, sway bar disconnect, etc. how about drilling them on stuff that makes their product superior to the competition?? Tell us more technical things of the construction of the truck, engine, trans, rear etc.
