They'll do anything not to have to give a loner.

When your new $50k truck breaks, and you've bought multiple vehicles from that same dealership, they had better cough up a loaner for you. I really didn't give them an option though, "I need a loaner" was the first thing out of my mouth when I rolled into their service dept.

It was interesting to note that other than cabin space, the '24 Tacoma and '24 Tundra feel like the same truck when you drive them, which is a testament to how big the Tacoma has gotten.

Only closes at high speeds far as I know. So unless you got your passenger to surf the hood you may never Don't worry, the truck will shut down all of its systems and light up like a Christmas tree if it doesn't work.

If it quits, you get an engine code.

This wasn't an uncommon issue on the early builds but it's obviously been addressed.
