PNW Trailhunter Port of Portland QC HOLD - 10/01/2024

So I have noticed that Toyota hasn't allocated any new TH's to the PNW region for about a month now. I am assuming it's due to the QC hold at the Port of Portland. I've called almost every dealer in WA and to see if their system's "timeline" had an estimated delivery time and all of them have replied the same. I have attached an screenclip of what they've shared with me. Often times the dealers aren't even getting notified that a TH is getting delivered until the night before, which is a bit frustrating. Does anyone have any further insight as to what issues are holding them up at the port?

EDIT: I've tried to look up the VIN's in the transmission replacement tracker, no luck. So I'm curious what issue is being addressed. Could it still be the Mass Intake Filter issue?

Well that's not good. It seemed like all the holds were finally released. Dealers here just started getting new allocations again and the first Trailhunters are arriving.

Unless something has changed, none of the Hybrids were affected by the transmission service bulletin. I hope yours is released quickly!

It's gotta be a new issue. Mine was caught in back-to-back QC holds a couple of months ago, and came to me with a new snorkel cover and a yellow door sticker reducing my cargo capacity by 52 lbs.

Mine has been stuck in the port since 8/27. (ref) Each week there is no update from my dealer. I know that @RESQCAT has been able to take delivery of their TH recently.

I actually just found a phone number for the logistics company in charge of holding them. They took the VIN number and said they will call me back with more information. I'll keep ya posted

Holy crap! So the port called me back and updated me that they changed the QC status and release it and it’s good to ship. Two minutes later, my sales guy called me saying he got a notification that it was clear to sell. Just walked out of the dealership with signed paperwork and registration, they expect delivery to be as early as tomorrow and late as Monday.

Give this number a call tomorrow: (503) 286-5881. Wait for “shipping and logistics” and then just select a random name. I chose number 3. Someone should answer and just let them know you purchased a Trailhunter and you are trying to track your truck. They’ll ask for your VIN or pass your contact info to Toyota logistic distribution. They will give you a call back later in the day or this week and let you know what they find.

Oh nice. Thats definitely a hard to find color! I had a deposit on the TH but released it yesterday, so if you wanna switch……you can. Should be delivered this month
