I just got the Husky Xact fit (couldn't beat the price) . We shall see. I have purchased them before and they were not great. I have tried Weathertech twice and honestly other than them being made in America they have been the biggest disappointment ever. They spend a ton on marketing but...
While Toyota paint is basically as low budget as it gets most paint has some level of orange peel. We have bought two Porsche’s and they have orange peel. Yes it is frustrating but if you are expecting a good paint job, Toyota or any other budget auto maker is probably not for you.
Since you are a professional detailer how about you put your money where your mouth is. When I get mine. It will have orange peel. I will take it to my detailer. When he removes it all and the paint looks perfect you pay the bill (it should be around $2500). If he can't remove it I will pay...
Ok if you say so. I'm done here. I guess there are plenty of good detailers on here that do it for a profession. Live with your orange peel and think it can't be done. Never said cheaply BTW.
Ceramic coat will not remove nor lessen the orange peel. Your only "good" option is to take it to a good detailer and they will do a 2 stage paint correction to smooth it out. Expect for a good job and not a hack job to be around $2K or so.
It was an absolute deal breaker for us. Looks way too gimicky and Fast and the Furious. Also ugly. Lastly completely makes the back seat useless (not that there is much space anyways). Hard pass.
I mean I have had them in about 15 cars, hundreds of thousands of miles and none of those things ever happened. You better keep your radio turned off, it my spark and cause a fire while you are driving 55 down the road.
I mean sure wait. They like all the above the rumors will start that says the 26 will be adding X to upgrade it and then the 27 will add Y. I mean that is just how cars/trucks have gone for decades. At some point you just have to jump in or just stay out for good. There will always be a...
Too each his own but these mats were all the craze on the Tesla forums and all the Tesla Homers had to have them. I felt they were expensive, didn't look that great and many other options to go with. Also heard their CS was horrible but that was from just a few people (Tesla owners at that...
Silly I did not know you could check that way. Mine says 7/11 - 7/22 and my dealer sent me a screen shot. Lasting sighting 7/3 on the rail in Chicago. 6/26 rail depart is the last stage on the screen shot. Next marker is "Rail arrive"
I mounted our dual ARB in the engine bay of our Wrangler JL and found the heat of the engine was just too much. Opted to change it to an under seat option and it was perfect. That's what I would look to do in the Tacoma.
