Right on the brink of canceling my deposit with by dealer and going back to Dodge. Far too frustrating that nobody can get any information on holds. Can't sit here waiting for a truck that hasn't even got an estimate of when it might be delivered.

Toyota said I can't get the exact build I want. I have to take what Toyota sends them. I've read on here others have been able to order what they want.

That is correct, the allocation I found had the exact build options I wanted. And n BS add ons. I got really lucky! Build date is February 28! The excite builds!

My Dealer hasn't received any TRD OFF ROADS yet. I'm going to have to negotiate the add-ons, bed liner, paint protection, etc. I don't want them. Maybe he'll throw in all weather mat, tint to off set the add-ons. He's a small Dealer, easy to deal with. This will my 4th Toyota from him.

I ordered my 2024 Tacoma Off Road in Supersonic Red about December 22, 2023.
6' bed with the Premium Package, every option available. First time I ordered a Toyota since I I ordered and took delivery of my 1988 4Runner in March of 1988 which I still own and drive.

Dealer is clueless when I might get it. I am on a wait list and am told they are only building as of now base trucks and they get what Toyota sens them. I am not sure if I will ever get the truck. I strongly dislike the way Toyota handles orders. No name attached to a build, just take a deposit and Toyota will build it when they feel like it and send to the dealer on a first come first serve bases.

I asked the dealer for a best guess estimate, they have no idea. Manager said about a year. Then I head 4 months from February putting it at the end of June at the very best. I've ordered new vehicles before a GMC Canyon and a Dodge Charger, each vehicle had my name on it and I was updated on the progress of the build to delivery. With Toyota, NO updates, no news no nothing. Dealership is completely clueless they have no idea, no answers. This is a hell of a way to do business.

I can't find the build I want. Toyota isn't shipping the TRD OFF ROAD auto, premium to my State. They won't let Dealerships order what I want. I checked my insurance rates today, $92 more monthly over my 19 trd off road. Add that to the $52,000 sticker I have to wait. It's more than my budget will allow.
