Wonder what the weight difference is.

All these steel parts are attractive.... but you can already see how much damage they do to the payload on the Trailhunter.

As far as I know the point of OME shocks and suspensions is to increase the payload and towage, the payload and towage of the Trailhunter is the same as the PRO or TRD models...

Shocks probably don't have much to do with the payload, it's more on the springs & corresponding spring rate. If anything, I'm guessing spring rates are roughly the same, it's all the steel stuff (skids, bumper, etc) on the Trailhunter that kills the payload.

Payload drops by a tad over 200lbs.... it's meaningful IMHO.

huh I guess your right dang 200lbs is significant I was watching the video from the chief engineer of Toyota and he said there wasnt a difference but there obviously is...

On the bright side, if you remove the McFly Bar from the bed and you probably get back about 100 lbs of payload.
