Hey everyone, just want to share my taco with KO3 285/70/17 C Load rated tires on stock off-road wheels. The tires ride so smooth with no vibrations. I was worried cause the KO2 I had before on the 3rd gen taco had vibration issues. From initial drives, I do feel the added weight of the tires when Iā€™m accelerating but itā€™s still has strong speed. When I hit bad bumps on the road, I do feel it more but over smaller bumps and overall ride is smoother than the oem trail terrains. Overall love these tires and thanks to you all with your posts that made my decision. šŸ™ŒšŸ™Œ

Looks awesome! I'll be going this route or AT4Ws in the same size once I wear through the stock tires.

Interested to hear how your mpgs play out over time.

Iā€™ve had mine on for a couple months and have only noticed a slight decrease in mileage. Even after adding a 1.5ā€ leveling/lift I think overall Iā€™m down a few mpg. Itā€™s hard to tell because any long trip from Phoenix requires driving up a mountain. But around town if I drive it to and from work itā€™s 19-20. Iā€™m happy with that compared to our old 2020 TRD Pro 4Runner.

Thanks for confirming, those look great, I'm sure a lot of people will want this setup... if not off the bat at least after their factory Trail Terrains ware down.

So what do you do with your old 'like-new' rubber? Is there much of a market for them?

Not OP but I sold the tires off my TRD OR (Trail Terrain) with ~300 miles on them for $500 with a Facebook Marketplace ad. I think maybe the ad was up for about a day before the tires got snapped up.

Sold my TRD OR OEM BFG Trail-Terrains with 5K miles on them for $500 on Facebook Marketplace. Only took two days to find a serious buyer.

Those look awesome!!! No spacer lift or any of that and they donā€™t rub at all? I might not be able to wait til my oem tires are worn to jump on a set of those.

I sold them to a friend. I got rid of them quick because I got a flat parking in a camping spot in Sedona. Those stockers are too soft for offroading in rocks. I plugged it and got home, but it was still leaking. He bought them for his wifeā€™s 4Runner that is a pavement princess.

No lift or anything, and I couldnā€™t wait to get bigger tires on šŸ˜‚

Good to know! I think I can wait lol. Already spent a bundle on seat covers and rock sliders. Gonna have to maybe look at that trailhunter/pro rear bumper too. Looks real sharp. Spendin' the money!

Curious what lugnuts you are using here. I`m not a huge fan of our TRD OR wheels, but the black nuts definitely help.
