Hey Everyone,

Just wanted to make a post about my TrailHunter build since I was looking for a lot of information while I was waiting for mine. So here’s 4 things I did this weekend and I think all I’m going to do.

- 17” Method 703 Bead Grip rims with FALKEN Wildpeak AT4Ws (285/70R17)
- Smart Cap Sport
- Decked System
- 20% Ceramic Window Tint

I haven’t gotten much driving in since I’ve done any of these mods, so don’t have data on MPG, but cabin noise is minimal with the new tires and the ride is just as smooth.

The Decked system is great, but it defintely takes up a lot of the bed. It also definitely makes it difficult to access the compressor, but it should still be do able. With the smart cap on top of the Decked, I have more than enough bed space and it’ll be nice to be able to leave things locked in the bed. The digital rear view mirror also still works fine with no modification which surprised me.

18" Tundra/Sequoia TRD Pro BBS Forged wheels 285/65-18 + tires.

I think these fit nice on stock 4G Tacoma. And, I have a set for sale.

Its been great with the exception of having to sacrifice my digital rear view mirror. I also think that the extra weight has made my mpg go significantly down as I'm averaging about 17 city/hwy. Admittedly, a lot of my driving is stop and go. Smart Cap updated a lot of their features though and it is really awesome.

Got some method MR318’s 17x8.5 +25 wrapped in Falken atw4 285/70 R17. No rubbing at all on a stock suspension TRD Sport.

I installed a set of 285/75/17 Falken Wild Peak tires on 17" x 8.5" +25 offset Method wheels. It's sits on a King 2.5 coilover suspension.

I can confirm NO RUBBING and I still retained the OEM crash pads and added a set of Rokbloks mud flaps.

I swapped out to 17x8.5 Raceline Kranks in a matte bronze and am happy with how they pair with the Underground color. It's a +18 offset, and the tires are Wildpeak 285/70R17s, which is the same diameter as the stock on the OR hybrid. There's some poke but not too much. Apparently enough to throw some dirt past the mud flaps onto the side of the truck though. Also did a 1.5" ReadyLIFT leveling kit up front.
