Air Compressor Installed

I was finally able to get to the install of my Rough Country dual compressor. I installed on bed between bed and body. The only hiccup I had was I couldn't get the Aux1 switch to work on it. I had power to the plug in the back, but couldn't get it to tune compressor on. Gave up and just used the switch that came with it and it works great. probably a better spot for the switch anyway.

This is pretty cool. Where is the compressor mounted, under the hood and you ran the hosing to the rear? Smart idea!

I'd like to see more pics on this one! Definitely something I want to do too since right now my solution is keeping a compressor in the truck bed.

Did it come with the box and door or was it separate? I have a ARB twin with 1.5 gallon tank I’m getting ready to install. I’m same location drivers side. Well done.

Here is a pic of it from underneath, you can get a better idea of where it is located. I used rubber washers on both sides. There is a very specific spot where it fits and I missed on my first shot. On the Hybrid there is a rubber grommet underneath right near rear driver side door that goes right into battery area under backseat. Didn't even have to pull any plastic trim. I think this is basically where the compressor is on the Trailhunter. I can get more pics tonight if anyone wants to see anything specific.

I put the switch and quick connect in the data box in the bed that came with my truck. Not sure if it is part of the package or not. I have a hybrid offroad with upgrade package.
