Hey folks,

Another 3M carbon fibre fender/mirrors wrap. Performed in the greater Toronto area at fast wrap. Fender bolts were loosened, fenders pulled out slightly to allow for folded edges behind/underneath and hand tightened when re-secured. Mirror covers also removed. 5yr warranty, $650+tax (CDN).

Cheers,
Josh

Thx! I was worried the 3M "matte" CF would result in a graphite/grey-ish finish and disrupt the monochromatic storm trooper motif as would be the case with a real matte CF molding however the 3M wrap has more of a satin black finish.. it looks pretty much the same black from a ways out with just a bit less gloss IMO..

That looks good. My strategy will be to let the fenders go to hell (already very pin striped and rock chipped) and replace them entirely when they get really bad.

Ya... these OEM mud flaps aren't great. To the point I debated wrapping the bottom half of the truck but will go the 3M PPF route instead.

Love that carbon fiber look. I was thinking about wrapping the roof/pillars and mirrors. Think I'll consider the flairs as well.

Yeah, stock flaps are useless. I had the Rokblokz for a bit, now the Arcs. Even with the wider coverage, still getting fling on the rear flairs. I do have K03's, but was getting fling on the stock wranglers.

Just ordered the Rough Country HD2 running boards. I think that's the only way to limit the rear fender flair from getting trashed.
