All the colors would have worked for me, but once I saw Terra I fell in love. It was pure luck that my dealer got a 2024 Pro allocation and incredible luck that it was Terra.

What color is your Pro? Encased in ice it is hard to tell. lol
It's white, aka storm trooper motif. Wouldn't be so bad if I didn't already have a white/black 718 Boxster GTS 4.0 with minor red accents as well :p -- Two cars in a row with no decent color options! Queue the wraps maybe..

Man, you do have it rough, although white is a great color on the Pro.

Of course I might trade a couple of left body parts for that 718 GTS. :)

Looks like this would do the trick for those wishing to lower the volume on the JBL center..

Rockville VOL7035:

I would first make sure you're content with the front L/R audio when the JBL is installed.. It seems the EQ is reconfigured when the JBL is present (eg: battery/12v circuit closed on the connector below). This was not the case when I connected a passive center channel speaker, just to the amplified center speaker 2-wire pair.

- wall plate/cover would be removed from VOL7035
- Remove dock from dash, disconnect the connector [below]
- Install on the amplified center channel [C+/C- below]

For those wishing to replace the JBL center dock assembly altogether with a custom center channel speaker using the existing amped center channel wiring the following would be needed:

1) Non-JBL speaker cover which would be cut to hold replacement speaker(s)
OEM Part No.: 55474-AK010

2) Replacement speaker(s) - EG 1 or 2 JBL Club 34F, Pioneer TS-A709/879 etc
JBL: https://a.co/d/ixfjjSb
Pioneer: https://a.co/d/0wTkOEF https://a.co/d/hyy2FFF

3) Speaker cover (black nylon else one/two 3" or one 4" speaker covers)

I've ordered two OEM non-JBL dash covers and the 2.75" Pioneer TS-A709s and will report back. I went with the 2.75" TS-A709s vs. other 3.5" expecting I can squeeze two side-by-side vs the larger 3.5" diameter speaker options.

I will get some as soon as I am able.
Here is where I installed the amp. Just to the left and behind of the glove box. Sorry I did not get actual photos as I was starting to get rained on.........

UPDATE:
We have a Toyota head unit [and likely JBL amped] high level center channel and battery connected to the dock which in turn converts voltage and audio into to the removable JBL's 5 contact connector. I suspect the dock conversion IC is also performing high-to-low levelling on the Toyota's high center. Using a center channel speaker from a small home theatre kit I am getting much better quality audio and perfect balance to the L/R.. comments in thread.

For those planning on keeping the JBL center: IMHO the best option would be is a high level speaker volume adjuster on the Toyota harness to the dock. This would allow you to lower the volume pre-JBL dock conversion and quite likely improve the audio fidelity as well.

ORIGINAL:
Curious if anyone has a viable solution for this [short of ripping the JBL out] -- a gain trim/leveller under the dash perhaps?

Details -- skip if you've read all the complaints already, nothing new here other than it's a 2025 :p :
The JBL center channel/removable speaker is terribly unlevelled in my 2025 TRD Pro, overpowering by ~2x multiplier vs the fronts and higher vs the rears. I'll be installing the Beat Sonic this weekend and don't believe that can provide any adjustment/correction for this issue - which is a sloppy factory sound stage with no built-in sound stage/eq profiles nor manual adjustments to correct the center channel levelling issue. Audio fidelity-wise I was not expecting the JBL to come close to the Burmester in my car nor the B&Ws in my living room however for what I spent on this truck I'm definitely unimpressed with the JBL soundstage and lack of a fix 2 model years in.
Thank you for the info. I bought the blank for the dash and installed it (no speaker). I think I like it way better already!

JBL speaker and parts are now in box on a shelf! :)
