Do you have any pictures or part numbers of the items you used?

My 24 sport came with 3 pigtails in the glove box.
One hooks to plug near filler neck of windshield washer tank and has 4 bare wires on the other end to hook to 3 things you want to power (from 3 aux switches)
Black AUX 1 15Amp fuse
Green AUX 2 10amp fuse
White AUX 3 5 amp fuse
White w Black stripe - Ground
The second pigtail is nearly identical to the first but only has 3 bare wires (ground and two hot from switches, then on the black wire (aux 1 )it has a plug that plugs in to the harness at the bottom of the washer tank neck and sends power to the back somewhere near the bumper.
The third pigtail (one black wire and ground ) then plugs into the harness in the back frame of the truck to power something in the rear.

That's good info and all, but for a baja S8 40" light bar it pulls 16amps much less onx6+ pulling over 26 amps. I'm guessing for things like this you would have to run your own wiring. Please correct me if I'm wrong. I'm new to this light bar and preinstalled plug stuff.

Just got my new Taco TRD Off Road last week. Installed some grille lights and used the AUX3 switch. What an easy process, plug & play at its finest! Great job Toyota!
What light did you install and how many amps does it draw?

I'm buying the Heretic 20" for the TH grille I bought recently. It draws 13.8, so Aux wiring is fine. That and replacing my OR fogs with some heretics as well.

I would use the factory wiring so the switch works on the dash and add a relay with a fuse on your battery. 85 to OEM Aux wire of your choice, 87 to light bar, 30 to battery (fused), 86 to ground. This is a diagram I found online for example. Use 10 gauge for that 26 amp bar. 30 amp fuse and 30 amp relay.

Check under the rear seat, that's where my pigtails were. However, my window sticker said that my truck also came with usb phone cables, a $70 option which I could not find. I went back to the dealer who said they get swiped all the time and they gave them to me on the spot. If you can't find the pigtails, it's worth going back to the dealer. Why pay for something on ebay or Toyota parts when it should have been in your truck from the start. If you have the Aux switches, I would image you should also have the pigtails that go with them.

Do you have an Off Road upgrade package or Premium package?
Yes, there is an upgrade package that gives you the switches, larger monitor and some other features like the JBL sound system, heated steering wheel, ect.

Sounds like @Timster has a base OR, which won't include the prewired switches. He'll still have the locations, but the switches and wiring won't actually be installed.

Which company had a wiring harness on their lights that was plug and play with the pre-wired Tacoma pigtails? Cali Raised LED says they can't make theirs plug and play and still requires some splicing, which doesn't make much sense to me. Did Toyota use some super proprietary connector or what?
