BedRug Classic Liner - Installed

Installed the BedRug 5’ Classic Liner today. My first BedRug, no prior experience with them. Seems solid, great quality. Hardest part was zipping it together (2 seperate pcs when arrives) Took my time, cut out for the lights and access panels. The bottom liner is thick and is contoured to the Ribs in the bed,, crawling in much easier on the knees now. Overall very happy. Waiting on the bed topper from OVS to finish it off.

I've been kicking this around vs the rubber bed mat from Toyota.
When it's wet, will water go through it and causes mildew?
I'm still gonna put a cover on and they all seem to have a dab a leaking in them.
I'd like to hear from people that have done the rugs and have had them for a while and can address the mildew concern and what degree of rug burn do they cause?
I think the rugs are so classy looking.
Pros and cons of one vs the other or of just each one individually?

I went with the OEM. Bed mat , i dont think i would be able to keep the carpet areea as nice as it should be, i do a lot or outdoor projects, so ill settle for mat, the carpet is beautiful and i love it , but i think i wouldnt do it due justice ,putting outdoor projects things in it ….i think when im done with doing outdoor projects , i will treat self to the carpet. Again….very nice job, this looks classy

The full bed rug is really sharp. I went with bed rug mat instead. I had it on my previous tacoma. I also installed the tailgate mat. I put strips of military sleeping pad down to make it more comfortable as the tailgate doesn't have the same scallops the bed rug does. I glued them down with "Joe's Sticky Stuff" I found out about while watching TikTok.

I have two trailers I use for hauling so my bed doesn't get dirty. Plus, I keep a tarp when I'm forced to carry something dirty in a pinch.

This “carpet” is actually a foam and plastic sheet that resists mildew and stains. Time will tell. Adding the topper will make it nice and cozy

Does that cargo box under the 12v outlet have a locking mechanism? Or is it free to open from anybody on the outside. I’m jealous. My SR5 bed is bare

No, No locks. I keep the TH air hose kit in there. Upon removal,, an install on a truck that didn’t come with one, would appear to be fairly easy.
