My arrived a week EARLY at the dealer today from Guanajuato! Two weeks from the time it was put on the train until delivery to the dealership!

Includes Upgrade package, sunroof, 14” multimedia upgrade. They changed up the interior from the build sheet to Black/white.

Arranging shipment (9hrs away). Will do a full write up after I receive it and share info on some early mods and plans!

KO3s arrived today and Method wheels are on the way! Going a little different route with the wheels than what everyone else seems to be doing. More to come

Hello all!
Just traded in a 2023 4x4 for this beast. yeah, I took a hit, but the 2024's are so nice! Hope to learn a thing or two. I also own a Bronco Raptor, so while I need 4x4 capabilities on the Tacoma to haul dirt bikes, etc, the Bronco does the heavy roosting!

So, here is the plan...
When I bought the 2023 the idea was to have Camburg do the build. They have been down this road many times with 3rd Generation Tacos. But, doing a 2024 is a relatively newer adventure for Camburg. Long story short... I liked the new Tacos so much better and the whole thing just suddenly made sense to go with a 2024 and do the build with the 2024.

This is what I know so far:

I am truly in love with this truck. I’ve owned a 2GT and three 3GTs, and this truck is LEAGUES ahead of the old trucks. I loved the old trucks for their reliability, but not much else in terms of interior or powertrain performance.

I paid MSRP of $53k for the truck and I think it is absolutely worth every penny with all of the features compared to a TRD ORP 3GT.

Of course reliability is still a question mark, but i came into this truck expecting there to be hiccups to be corrected with warranty. So long as it’s not a lemon, this truck will be my last.

Ordered a set of BFG KO2s in 295/70R17 (33.3” tires) and will post pics soon with the new tires!

30 miles on the odometer and already thrilled with the improvements over Gen3! Not enough mileage yet to comment on the manual transmission. I’m playing around with shifting speed, iMT on/off, etc but I’m not yet getting on it until it’s broken in. I’m also noting all the quirks and features (as Doug DeMuro says). Notable mention- electronic parking brake auto engages when you turn off the truck! This solves my age old problem of “did I remember to set the parking brake?”. Also notable mention - there are footwell lights and the bed lights automatically turn on when you open the tailgate!

Took it in to Apex Filmwerks for Xpel PPF partial front, and door cups/edges. Decided to put a light smoke film on the fog lights. It looks much better!

Also had Xpel Premium + ceramic tint installed. 70% windshield, 70% sunroof and 35% front sides.

Wheels and tires go on Tuesday!

Picked this up today - Sport/Manual with upgrade. Broke it in on a 500 mile trip home from where I picked it up (not a pre order - found it available at a dealer last week). All was great.

Does anyone with a manual know if it’s possible to keep iMT on as a default?

Just installed these 295/70R17 (33.3”) on 17” Method 314 (+25 offset) on my TRD OR with stock suspension and there’s no rubbing! I haven’t fully flexed everything out, but it all looks like it’ll fit when stuffed. Also didn’t have any rubbing when turning into my driveway at full lock. I’ll be updating once I get it on some ramps in this post and on my IG below.

Just passed 1,000 miles today picking up my 2 full size spare tires.

TRD Sport 6MT with RC spacer up front running 265/70 R18 ko2's. No real mods yet, unless you call the TRD air filter one, hehehe

I did install the engine cover from Victory 4x4 and I have their front aluminum skid plate coming in to protect the lower front. Other plans this year include draw bar for receiver hitch and tri-fold hard cover. My 2 spares are Tundra 18 x9's with 265/70 ko2's mounted on them.
