Hi everyone,

Here’s a pic of my 3rd gen that I built for 5 years. Some might have seen in in IG: peanut_butter_taco

For those who remember 3 years ago, Tacomas were being marked up by 10-15k by dealerships due to inventory shortages. This retired military guy gave me a ridiculous offer I couldn’t refuse for my 3rd gen peanut butter Tacoma. It was one of those things where I’d be a dummy if I didn’t take the offer. Turns out he was following my page and saw how I built it with tasteful modifications over the years.

Sadly it got into a wreck, the buyer was fine but killed who hit the truck.

. Lots of memories with that thing and made me sad then but didnt even realize it was a blessing in disguise because the guy paid me $60k for my Tacoma.

Changed my ig name since I sold it 3 years ago.

Had my 4th gen for a month now. Super happy with it. So far just a spacer lift, tires and wheels. Waiting for more suspension options for 4th gen’s. Didn’t wanna spend a ton then a nicer one comes out.

Wow, 60K for your 3G! Was a great looking truck, sorry to hear it's fate.
I will be interested in what you do with your new 4G. I gave up an FJ for an OR and haven't regretted it yet...though with the rumors of a new FJ in the pipeline, we'll see how I feel when it comes out. LOL

Yeah man one of those offers you can refuse. Brand new 3rd gen’s were going for 50+. I guess to him he gets one with all the mods for 10k. The truck had 16k miles in 5 years also.

lol yeah. Shit got 10-12 mpg. So I used my other car. Used it mostly in the summer to town my boat so it was also never driven in the rain. Truck looked new lol.. prolly why dude paid that much after I declined his offer at 50 and kept upping his offer every week . At 60 I said I’ll never get that kind of money.

We aware that the aggressive tire poke and tread pattern will not be kind to the thin factory paint, but you probably knew that.

lol you had me double checking my hood. Def not misaligned. It’s the sun to the left. Did a whole ppf on both doors, rockers, and front end .
