Can you determine if the vibration is coming from the front or the rear? Do you feel it in the seats? If not, where do you feel it? The dealer doesn't like anyone to try to diagnose their own vehicle and instead of telling them to drive it 75 just ask them to go for a test drive with you.

Offered to drive and they still refused. It came from the roof rack, a wild ass guess because they were useless. Found TSB-0016-25 and had a customer advocate make them apply it.

Basically had to diagnose and recommend my own fix.

Unfortunately that is getting to be normal at a lot of dealerships today, and pretty much across all brands.

They need to pull that roof rack off the market. Glad you got it resolved.

Sounds like poor product validation by Tacoma engineers before production.

Same thing here. The dealership did what they were allowed to, and couldn't make big changes until Toyota allowed it.

Alot of times when wheels cant be balanced, the tires have runout that tend to be more pronounced at higher speeds. Theres nothing you can do but change the tire. They should be able to see it on a lift with the tire spinning.

Ive seen mostly off road style, knobby tires have these issues, which is why ive stopped using them over the years.

I had the roof rack vibration and my dealer knew about it but at the time Toyota didn’t have a fix for it.. when the tsb came out the dealer ordered the parts and fixed it. it’s just 3 rubber bumpers that they change out
